Financial Planning, Management, and Advice

Introducing Vanguard Personal Advisor Services

With money, comes questions. From how to maximize your retirement income to knowing the appropriate investment strategy based on your goals—it can be a lot to think about. We’re by your side to help you feel confident about your future.

Our advisors value true partnerships. They’ll work closely with you to create a personalized plan to help you reach your goals and are available to connect whenever you have questions.

Our advisors are salaried and don’t make commissions. They have no financial incentives to recommend certain products and will create a plan that is goal-driven, not market-driven. And they’ll use the low-cost funds and investment strategies that Vanguard is known for.

Recent Vanguard research shows that an advisor who provides professional financial planning, coaching, and portfolio management services can add meaningful value compared to the average investor experience.*

First, we talk

We get to know you, your goals, and your dreams. We know there’s no one-size fits-all approach to financial planning, so our small questions help us see your bigger financial picture and craft a plan that’s truly unique to you, not the market.

Did you know? Our advisors have no financial incentives to recommend certain products. They are fiduciaries, driven to help you make informed decisions for you and your family.

Next, we plan

Our advisors use their best thinking, innovative technology, and our time-tested investment philosophy to create your comprehensive financial plan. We share it with you, walk you through it, and answer all your questions before you commit to anything. When you’re ready, we put your plan into action.

Eyes on your goals

We keep track of your progress with ongoing maintenance and rebalancing as needed to make sure you’re on course to meet your goals. We’ll partner with you to revise your plan when needed.

Check your progress online with 24/7 real-time tracking of your portfolio. You can connect with an advisor by phone, email or video chat if you have any questions, concerns, or your personal situation changes.

Our advisors can help educate the whole family. They can advise on estate planning, creating a succession plan, and provide guidance on charitable giving to causes you care about, at no extra cost. We combine low-cost funds and tax-smart strategies to maximize your tax savings, so you can keep more of your money.

30 million investors strong

Over 40 years ago, we defied an industry by building a company with no outside investors and created the first index fund for individual investors. With no outside owners, we only serve one group of people: you. Every decision we make has you in mind and we’re proud that our reputation reflects our commitment to you.
