MISSISSIPPI OVERNIGHT. THE DEPARTMENT OF HEALTH IS REPORTING 183 NEW CASES OF COVID-19. EIGHT NEW DEATHS HAVE ALSO BEEN CONFIRMED, AND CORONAVIRUS CASES HAVE BEEN IDENTIFIED IN FIVE MORE LONG-TERM CARE FACILITIES ACROSS THE STATE. Food banks are trying to keep up with extra demand due to the coronavirus


Molina Healthcare of Mississippi is donating a total of $26,000 to help Mississippi food banks hit hard by the coronavirus.The grants are going to 12 nonprofit organizations across the state to help restock food supplies. Food banks and community organizations have seen an increase in demand for food and other services due to effects from COVID-19.
